Improving Lives Through Advice

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded an Improving Lives Through Advice (ILTA) five-year grant.

Delivered by The Access to Justice Foundation and The National Lottery Community Fund, ILTA has been established to support the delivery of free legal advice to marginalised people and communities across England and we’re looking forward to developing our specialist social welfare legal advice services and strengthening our influencing, partnership and fundraising work as part of the programme.

David Woolley, Chief Executive at Your Voice Counts, said:

“For over 30 years, Your Voice Counts has supported marginalised communities to understand and speak up for their rights. This five-year grant represents a significant investment in our organisation and the specialist support we provide. It will allow us to do so much more to achieve our vision of improving advice navigation, empowering people to resolve their legal problems, and influencing systemic change.

"Partnership working and co-production underpin everything we do so we will be collaborating with statutory, universal and voluntary services to help us achieve this vision. Most importantly, we will be working with the people we support to co-design and co-deliver the solutions that best meet their needs.

"We are delighted to have been awarded this funding and thank The National Lottery Community Fund, The Access to Justice Foundation and National Lottery players for making this possible.”

Look out for updates about our work coming soon.
